Government
Prince William County operates under the County Executive form of government with an eight-member Board of County Supervisors (the chairman is elected at large, the supervisors by district). The Board of County Supervisors appoints a County Executive to manage the county government.

Located 35 miles southwest of Washington, DC, bordered by Fairfax, Loudoun, Stafford, and Fauquier counties in Virginia and the Potomac River.
