Don't Panic--You are Not Alone
If you’ve just been told you are HIV positive you’re probably being bombarded by so many feelings -- fear, anger, sadness, confusion, perhaps even that your life is over.
Many others have been where you are now. Their experiences and words of support can help you understand that you are not alone, and that by paying attention to and following an HIV-treatment regimen that is prescribed for you, you can anticipate many productive years to come.
Day One is one such resource written by an HIV-positive person based on their reaction to a positive diagnosis.
If you need to talk to someone right away, call CrisisLink at 703-527-4077 or 800-273-TALK (8255) for empathetic listening.
