Three different types of Hotlines are listed on this page.

Crisis hotlines provide crisis workers who are available 24/7 to help you cope with an immediate crisis regarding HIV/AIDS.

Information hotlines provide additional information and resources on HIV/AIDS including:

  • Clinical Research
  • Information for friends, family and health care providers
  • Literature
  • Medical practice guidelines
  • Treatment and prevention 

 Treatment hotlines
provide information about HIV treatment options, which medications are being used in treatment and what can be done if treatment is not working.

Many hotlines offer help in Spanish as well as other languages.

CrisisLink offers a 24-hour suicide, crisis, and information and referral hotline. Staffed by trained volunteers and crisis line workers, this free service gives individuals problem-solving skills and information regarding community resources so that they may better cope with emotional, personal and family crisis.
